Our refund and returns policy is as follows. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Additional non-returnable items: gift cards, most health and personal care items. Most types of goods we sell are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as intimate, food, beauty, body & skincare products cannot be returned because of health, hygiene reasons and bacteria cross contamination.
However, if you receive a damaged product or item, we will be more than happy to send you out a replacement product for the damaged product free of charge.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a e gift card will be emailed to you.
To complete any returns, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
We do not offer any cash refunds at all. All refunds issued will be in the form of store credit or a store e gift card.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning any item that you don’t like or are just unhappy with. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
However, if we are sending out a replacement for a damaged or defective product, you will not be charged for the shipping. We will cover all shipping costs for replacements of damaged items received.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We are not responsible for returns or exchanges that get lost in the mail. Seeing as in we have no control over the mail systems at all.
We want all of our customers to be happy with each and every purchase that you make from Southern Homemadeables. So if you are unhappy or not satisfied with our products because of quality issues, we will be more than happy to issue you out a replacement product of your choosing of the same value. Now we cannot issue out replacements for silly issues like the feel or texture of the product, just because you do not like the texture. One other thing to remember is fragrance and flavor oils. Sometimes we get our fragrance oils and flavor oils from different sources. So just because one scent or flavor you ordered was a super strong scent/flavor does not mean that all of our products have a super strong smell or flavor. Some flavors and fragrances come in lighter varieties, and we also have no control over these types of issues. Some flavors and fragrances are just much stronger than others and therefore we will not issue replacements for issues like this either!
